I am a PhD candidate at the University of Iowa, hoping to earn a degree in French. I already hold both a bachelor's and master's degree in French from the University of Iowa, as well. My bachelor's degree is also in Linguistics so that I can teach English as a Second Language. My teaching experience is six years long and I have taught college level classes in France and the U.S. Along with my teaching role, I gained one-on-one tutoring experience, as well. Some of my favorite subjects to tutor in are literature, writing, ESL lessons, and French. Being in France and around the French language and culture was one of my favorite experiences. For this reason, French is my favorite subject to tutor. I can tutor all levels, from beginner French to AP French language and culture. Language itself is one of my passions, which is why I made it a big focus during my matriculation in post-secondary school. Being able to help students through their journey, no matter the subject, is one of the things I love the most. When I am not in the classroom, I like to read, cook, and travel. I also enjoy playing and listening to music.
