Experience
I graduated from Biola University where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Then, I attended the University of California at Irvine, where I attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. My experience with tutoring has ranged over twenty years and has led me from elementary level math, up to more complicated disciplines, such as calculus and statistics. I am qualified to help with physics, geometry, science, algebra, differential equations, finite mathematics, trigonometry, and middle school math, as well. I am rewarded to instruct people because I work to eliminate the fearful attitude that is often taken when presented with mathematical and scientific topics. My method involves customizing my lessons to fit the needs of each, individual student. I am so passionate about teaching. My hope is that the people I encounter will walk away with not only an understanding of math, but a true love for the subject.Of course, I do have a life outside of education, though. Living in Chandler, Arizona, I am pretty active. I like to go on hikes. I am interested in basketball and hockey, on the athletic side of things. Working out is a significant past time for me, as well as taking pictures and listening to music.
