I am a senior majoring in Molecular Cellular Biology and minoring in Economics at the University of Arizona. I serve as a T.A. in the Chemistry department, where I assist professors in facilitating the undergrad labs for the general chemistry curriculum. I also serve as the Lab Manager in an Organic Chemistry laboratory, where I supervise all of the laboratory's projects in progress. I am passionate about education, and I truly enjoy helping other students learn through serving as a tutor. When approaching challenging topics, I break each concept down into manageable steps. By taking each concept one step at a time, my students build toward subject mastery! I also ask my students to teach the topic back to me, which is a great way to pinpoint any areas that need further work. I encourage all of my students to ask lots of questions! I find it greatly rewarding to help students become engaged with and begin to enjoy previously difficult subjects. In my spare time, I enjoy movies and basketball games, reading, hiking, and cycling. I also love a good game of tennis!
