I am a tutor with a strong background in math. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in journalism. After graduation, I worked for three years at the East Valley Tribune. I am currently teaching at a charter school for students at the middle and high school levels. I am currently teaching trigonometry, algebra, and geometry. I am also comfortable tutoring students in pre-calculus, arithmetic, pre-algebra, competition math, and statistics. I am also available to help students prepare for exams. Math has always been my favorite area of study, and is also the subject I have found the most success in. However, I have also developed a deep passion for writing. My pursuits as a writer tend to focus more on the creative side of writing rather than the professional side. My ultimate goal is to publish either a novel or a collection of short stories. I am a firm believer in everyone receiving a quality education. My goal as a tutor is to make sure that my students are able to receive the best possible education. In my free time, I enjoy biking, reading, camping, sports, and playing video games.
