I'm currently teaching the third grade full-time. As a tutor, I've worked with students from kindergarten level through eighth grade, along with some experience helping college students as well. I learn visually myself, and I use diagrams and drawings quite often in our sessions to help students visualize concepts that we study. My students have been very successful under my tutelage. My students have increased at least one grade level, and many evidence further than that. I utilize games and music in my tutoring to help keep students engaged and having fun. Overall, I use many different techniques to help students master the topics we study. I can tutor students in algebra, geometry, chemistry, physiology, history, government, reading, social studies, and anatomy and physiology. In my free time, I like to read, hike, and run. I also coach a softball team and a cross country team.
