I have degrees in Molecular Biology and Music. I'm currently working towards a career in medicine. While going to school, I had the opportunity to realize just how much I love helping others. While in school, I served as an undergraduate teacher assistant. I helped individuals in the lower math courses, such as Calculus 1. I worked for my Biology professor as her preceptor. During this time, I worked daytime hours and was in charge of conducting review sessions for tests. I held this responsibility for several years during my schooling.I started teaching as a way to make a part-time living while in school, but then I realize just how much I loved it. I like teaching academics, but I also love to teach others how to play the violin. Music has been a huge part of my life, since I was a young child. During my high school education, I was in the all-state orchestra for 3 years. I've continued to play as the years go by.Right now, I'm working as an ER scribe. When I'm not working or teaching, I enjoy staying active. I like to work out and like rock climbing. I'm looking forward to helping more students improve their study skills and reach their academic goals.
